Studio A – Available

Studio A, approximately 20′ x 46′, on the north side of the building, two entrances, one off of Hardy and one to the back of the building.

July 2019 Downstairs Studios – Brick Reveal as Plaster Comes Down

The plaster removal also revealed that that there were 2 more sets of double doors than we originally thought.

Tongue and Groove Properties, LLC

Tongue and Groove Properties, LLC is owned by Bennie Flores Ansell, an artist & Art Professor at The Houston Community College Central Campus and David Ansell, a Psychiatrist who enjoys renovating old buildings. 2020 Hardy is not their first renovation. In 2011, The Ansells received a Houston Preservation Good Brick Award for renovation and additional work on their 1880's home in The Old Sixth Ward. The architects for their home project are Marisa Janusz and Joe Meppelink of Janusz Design. Gary Inman of Mainland Construction was their contractor. Their home was on the Rice Design Alliance Home Tour "Additionally" in the spring of 2014.
